How long we keep your pages

Frozen pages are deleted on a schedule, and deletion is permanent. We always email you before it happens.

The rules

Your plan	What happens
Pro or Team	Nothing is deleted while you subscribe.
Free	You can view a page for 30 days after you capture it. It is deleted 60 days after capture.
A paid plan that has ended	Pages are deleted 180 days after the plan ends, or 60 days after capture if that is later.

Deleting a page also deletes its comments and its screenshot. We cannot recover a deleted page, so keep your own copy of anything you need.

The warning emails

The workspace owner gets an email 7 days before any page is deleted, and again 2 days before. Each one says how many pages and comments are affected, the date, and which pages they are.

Keep your pages

Upgrade before the date in the email and those pages stay. While you are on a paid plan, nothing is deleted, and pages older than 30 days become viewable again straight away. See Plans, seats and billing.

Upgrading cannot bring back a page that has already been deleted.

Pages older than 30 days on Free

Between 30 and 60 days a page still exists, but it is hidden. You see the date it will be deleted and a way to upgrade. Anyone else who opens it sees that it has been archived, and can ask you to restore it. You get an email when they do. We never tell you who asked.
